Committee Description:
The Marketing Committee is an Administrative Governance Council participatory governance committee comprised of representation from Continuing Education faculty, staff, and administration.
The committee serves as liaison so that information goes from the representatives on this committee to their constituencies (Faculty and Classified Senates, Deans, Counseling Dept., ASB, etc).

- One Dean
- One Counselor
- One representative from Career Development Services
- Two students selected by ASB
- Two classified staff selected by Classified Senate
- Three faculty staff selected by Faculty Senate (representing career technical education programs, college preparation programs, and personal enrichment programs)
Committee Goal:
Make recommendations about marketing, and implementing CE’s image on current and new collateral materials (e.g. the class schedule, web site and course announcement fliers).
The group may serve as a focus group in some cases when ideas are needed about the layout and design for marketing or promotional projects.
Committee Procedures:
The Marketing Committee will make recommendations to the Administrative Governance Council.
Committee Calendar Meetings generally will be once each month, and as needed based on projects and schedules. Meeting dates and times will be determined based on availability of committee members.
The committee will not meet during summer hours when faculty and/or staff are not regularly scheduled to work.
