Committee Description:

The Continuing Education Web Page Committee is an Administrative Governance Council participatory governance committee existing as a service to Continuing Education to facilitate information flow through the web page. This committee will be comprised of a cross-section of CE employees and students. The committee will focus on all issues pertaining and relating to the SDCE website.

Chair:

  • Dean, Business and Information Technology (BIT).

Committee Membership:

  • Dean Business and Information Technology (BIT) and one other Dean
  • CE Webmaster
  • Two classified staff selected by Classified Senate
  • Two faculty selected by Faculty Senate
  • One MEI Faculty Member
  • One Counselor
  • Two students selected by ASB

Committee Goals/Issues:

To maintain the SDCE web page as an information hub with up-to-date information presented in a user-friendly environment that is functional for both students and staff.

Committee Procedures:

The Web Page Committee will make recommendations to the Administrative Governance Council.

Committee Calendar:

For the first six months, the committee will meet once every two months to review all incoming suggestions and/or submissions. At the end of this initial six-month period, the committee will determine the frequency of future meetings. Meeting minutes will be posted. Meeting agendas and minutes will be posted on the Continuing Education web page at http://gov.sdce.edu/.
